KIMS

Between 1994 and 2012 KIMS (Pfizer International Metabolic Database) has been collecting information about adult patients with growth hormone (GH) deficiency both who receive and do not receive GH replacement therapy. It contains data on more than 16,000 patients from 31 countries worldwide. Data from KIMS are being used for scientific research to increase the knowledge of growth hormone deficiency and treatment with GH in adult patients. The research is coordinated by the KIMS Steering Committee and conducted by KIMS investigators. The results are presented in peer-reviewed journals. As of October 2012 the Database was closed for further data collection, however, it remains as a source for scientific analyses.
The KIMS website can be used to obtain basic information about GH deficiency in adults.
If you have any questions regarding KIMS, please contact Ferah Aydin, KIMS Manager.
